About Woods Edge Farm
Dreaming of a life close to nature and connected to the food that supports us, my wife and I started looking for a home that would make this a reality. Through good fortune and a little bit of serendipity, we found the land we now call home. We started with a small garden, five chickens, two crazy guinea fowl, and two large dogs. We now have a small-scale egg and poultry farm, selling our products here in the Bloomington-area. Our goal is to bring nutrient-dense food to our community, that has been raised in the way nature intended. We hope to continue to grow in a sustainable manner, participating in our community, and spreading the word about the benefits of healthy, nourishing, nutrient dense food and regenerative agriculture.
Our Story
Dreaming of a life close to nature and connected to food, the founders found land and started with a small garden, five chickens, two guinea fowl, and two dogs. They have since grown into a small-scale egg and poultry farm, aiming to provide nutrient-dense food to their community and promote regenerative agriculture.
