New Ground Farm

New Ground Farmis owned and operated by Mike and Lisel Record. We’re a small, all natural market garden located on the east side of Bloomington, Indiana. Established in 2014, we grow food you can feel good about eating – grown in the soil, fed by the sun. While his father and grandparents were Morgan county farmers, Mike didn’t get the farming bug until later in life. He’s proud of the fact that farming only skipped half a generation in his family! The pull towards work that is “right-livelihood,” that productively connects us more closely to our community and the earth, has grown stronger each year. By purchasing your food as close to home as possible, you get to support not only your local farmers, but also your local food economy.
