Rob and Lucy Wood established Spoutwood Farm in 1983 in southern York County, PA, inspired by the landscape's harmony. It began as a dried flower and herb farm in 1988, offering classes and publishing 'The Art of Dried Flowers' in 1991. The farm also initiated the May Day Faerie Festival in 1991, which grew to be the largest in the world, and operated the first CSA in Baltimore and York County from 1996-2019. Spoutwood Farm Center is now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit growing organic food for its founders and crew, focusing on promoting and advocating for a balanced partnership with the natural world.
