We fell in love while in school at Texas Tech and were quickly inseparable. Many of our early dates were on the ranch! We enjoyed hunting, hiking and being horseback together so much that we knew we wanted to raise our family on the ranch. We were married on nearby Possum Kingdom Lake surrounded by friends and family. We worked other jobs for years as we prepared to move to the ranch full-time while simultaneously growing our own grass-raised herd on family land. A month before our first son was due, we officially moved to the ranch. With our growing family, the need for healthy, fresh, and affordable food became paramount. Our deep passions for sustainable agriculture and ranching led to the birth of Native Beef as we began to process our own beef and develop a regenerative ranching operation guaranteeing a quality, delicious product. We began selling locally to friends and family first and continued to organically grow our herd. Fast-forward to today, we have three children, are managing three family ranches, and are shipping beef across the country. We feel incredibly grateful for all of our customers who have supported us in this journey. We are eager to continue nurturing the Native Brand and provide your family with the BEST Texas ranch raised beef available. THE VISION. THE LABOR. THE DO-ER. Riding a horse for the first time at three weeks old, Campbell grew up ranching and cowboying on his family ranch near Graford, TX. Campbell is hands-on, a man of vision, and a man of action. He has a lifetime of experience, degrees in Natural Resource and Ranch Management, and has completed extensive research to perfect our process to guarantee a premium product. THE MANAGER. THE COOK. THE MOM. Claire has always loved animals, but her passion for this lifestyle began to take root spending time on her grandfather’s farm near Meridian, TX. Claire cares for our herd beyond their physical health. She is heavily involved during calving season where she uses her trained eye to watch over expecting mama cows and their calves. She balances her time as a wife, mother and manager of Native Beef operations.
