Of The Earth Farm is a family-owned and operated farm rooted in a deep commitment to ethical, humane, and sustainable practices. Long before officially establishing the farm in 2021, we were guided by a single intention: to reconnect with the land and the values we believe the food system has forgotten. Disheartened by the direction of industrial agriculture, we set out to create a better way—one that honors the animals, the earth, and the people it serves. We’re equally committed to supporting our local community by sourcing our feed, supplies, and essentials from nearby businesses, ensuring that the goods we grow extends beyond our fences. We are a family-owned livestock farm in Jefferson, Ohio. We began our journey in 2021, just two twenty-somethings looking to find our way back to our connection with the earth. We offer ethically sourced and humanely raised pork and beef, and honey! Along with pasture-raised chickens and eggs. We are also a small horse boarding facility. Pasture-raised, non gmo, no vaccines, no dewormer, and no antibiotics. We mill our own feed for the chickens and pigs. Sourcing the corn, soy, and minerals from other local farms. Our pigs and chickens are raised out on pasture/ in the woods and are rotated. Our cows are 100% grass-fed and are rotated to fresh grass daily. This practice is known as regenerative farming, and the goal is to produce a thriving ecosystem where every animal, even insects serve a role on our farm. Improving the soil which in return feeds our animals.
