We strive to raise food in harmony with nature's plan. All of our animals are raised outdoors in situations that allow them to display their natural behaviors — 100% grassfed beef (Certified Grassfed by AGW), pastured pork, goat, lamb, and pastured chicken and duck eggs, all Certified Animal Welfare Approved. Our Angus-cross cattle graze on a 100% grass and forage diet year-round with rotational grazing. Our laying hens — Rhode Island Reds, Americaunas, and Delawares — and Khaki Campbell ducks roam on pasture. Our fruits are raised without chemicals and fertilized with properly composted manure from our own farm. The 3-acre orchard offers pick-your-own blueberries, muscadine grapes, apples, plus figs, persimmons, pawpaws, jujubes, kiwi, and American chestnuts. No pesticides, no herbicides — just good land stewardship. We became the fourth farm in North Carolina to earn Certified Grassfed by A Greener World in 2015.
