Our Story
Live Oak Plantation, a 280-acre treasure just 15 miles south of Charleston, was purchased in 1993 by David and Becky Baird. The plantation has a rich history dating back to the late 1600s, originally cultivating rice. In 2012, David expanded the herd to Plum Hill Plantation, a 944-acre property in the ACE Basin, where most of the cattle are currently finished.
