Buzz Off, Honey

Happy almost-spring everyone. We're still sold out of 2025 honey and expect the first 2026 harvest to be in late May or early June. Reminder that peak swarm season is May, but they can start as early as late April, so call your favorite beekeeper if you see one in the wild. (If we happen to be your favorite, our number is 330.422.3939)If you would like to host a swarm trap this year, please reach out. Swarm traps are small boxes designed to be attractive to swarms (size, location, etc.), hung about six feet off the ground. We typically hang them in late April and remove them in June. For now, we'll be busy stripping old woodenware down, cleaning it, and prepping it to go back in circulation.
