Winfield Farm is a 35-acre diversified organic operation in Red Rock, just southeast of Austin. Govinda Hough moved with her family from California to the property in 2007 and now manages the farm, growing a wide variety of produce using natural organic practices. The farm produces vegetables, edible flowers, herbs, fruits, nuts, eggs, sprouts, preserves, and pickles. Govinda does the bulk of the farm work herself with help from her family and a flock of about 60 chickens. The farm also features a B&B called Hotel California where visitors can experience farm life firsthand.
