A cooperative is a business owned by the people who rely on it every day. Instead of profits leaving the community, a co-op keeps value local by operating for the benefit of its members. It’s a simple idea: people choose to come together, share ownership, and support a business that reflects their values. Do you have to be an Owner to shop Everyone is welcome at the Co-op! Tidal Creek is community-owned, open to all, and offers ownership to anyone who wants to be part of it. Tidal Creek Co-op offers everything you need for a healthy, conscious lifestyle, from natural and organic groceries to local products you can feel good about bringing home. It’s the most complete shopping option in Wilmington for anyone focused on wellness and mindful spending. Shopping at the Co-op is more than picking up groceries. It’s becoming part of a community! Tidal Creek supports education, outreach, partnerships, and local charities, while also giving residents a place to meet, learn, and share ideas. Every purchase has power. About 68% of every dollar spent at Tidal Creek flows back into the community through donations, taxes, payroll, profits, and partnerships. The Co-op actively supports local farmers and vendors, ensuring your grocery budget builds a stronger, healthier local food system. Unlike big-box chains driven by outside shareholders, Tidal Creek is community owned. Surplus dollars stay right here: reinvested in the Co-op, returned to owners, and circulated through the local economy instead of leaving the region. Tidal Creek Co-op is about bringing people together around good food and shared values. Our work is guided by a commitment to individual well-being, a strong local community, and care for the planet. We focus on offering high-quality natural, organic, and local foods, and creating a welcoming, affordable place to shop. We also share knowledge that helps people make informed choices and operate in a way that supports both our local economy and the cooperative community. Go Green with Tidal Creek Co-op Tidal Creek Co-op is committed to preserving the earth for generations to come. Tidal Creek Co-op makes it easy to shop sustainably with a convenient electric vehicle charger located right in our parking lot. Customers can plug in and power up while browsing the store, grabbing a meal, or enjoying the café. The charger is free to use during store hours. The Co-op partnered with Surfrider, UNCW and the City of Wilmington, in the spring of 2014, to install an “Ocean Friendly Rain Garden” on our property. The garden reduces rain runoff by allowing stormwater to soak into the ground, as opposed to flowing into storm drains and surface waters which causes erosion, water pollution, flooding, and diminished groundwater. The filtering process improves water quality in nearby bodies of water around our community. 5329 Oleander DriveWilmington, NC 28403 Mon-Fri 8:00 am – 8:00 pmSat 8:00 am – 6:00 pmSun 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Mon-Fri 8:00 am – 7:00 pmSat 8:00 am – 5:00 pmSun 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Copyright 2026 | Tidal Creek Co-op | All Rights Reserved
