GET QUALITY BRAUNVIEH BEEF HERE!! Having grown up around cow/calf and stocker operations, Molly always had a passion for the cattle industry. It all began in 2010 with a junior heifer project that stimulated extensive research into the performance benefits Braunvieh cattle bring. This, along with personal experience in the industry, led to a burning passion for the breed. She began using her junior projects to build a herd and taking the time at shows to advocate for the breed and industry. These females and their progeny laid the foundation for the existing purebred program at Star Ranch and improved the functionality of the crossbred cattle. She has always had a strong desire to give back to the next generation and contribute to the overall improvement and progress in the beef cattle industry. Molly has been extensively involved as volunteer in BAA, TBA, & 4-H programs. She is currently serving on the Braunvieh Association of Americas Board of Directors, sitting on three committees, and completed her Masters Degree in Animal Science from Tarleton State University, summer of 2023. Leslie has always had a passion for cattle and agricultural advocacy, with a B.S. in Ag. Business and minor in Animal Science from Fresno State University. Leslie and her father (a rowcrop farmer of over 50 years), bred raised, showed cutting horses and ran stocker cattle together for over 30 years. Leslie grew up in a farming and ranching community and at Buchser Farms oversaw farm to table marketing and sales of vegetables and garlic; always making advocation of agriculture to the general public and customers a priority. Upon graduation, Leslie worked for Dole Vegetables in customer sales and relations for national chain markets before becoming a stay at home mom. After a move to Texas to start a new life as a single parent the mother daughter duo started started Star Ranch together. All while using her background in various sectors of agriculture to serve volunteer organizations like the Texas Braunvieh Association Youth Shows and programs and to build the foundation of Star Ranch Cattle. 2000 Central Road, Weatherford, Texas 76088, United States Copyright © 2025 STAR RANCH -
Molly's passion for the cattle industry began in 2010 with a junior heifer project, leading to extensive research into Braunvieh cattle. This, along with personal experience, fueled a burning passion for the breed. Molly and Leslie, a mother-daughter team, built the Star Ranch Cattle program from the ground up, focusing on producing better cattle and advocating for the next generation in agriculture. Leslie also has a background in farm-to-table marketing and sales of vegetables and garlic from Buchser Farms, and worked for Dole Vegetables in customer sales and relations for national chain markets before starting Star Ranch with Molly in Texas as a single parent. Molly completed her Masters Degree in Animal Science from Tarleton State University in summer 2023 and serves on the Braunvieh Association of America's Board of Directors. Leslie is involved in volunteer organizations like the Texas Braunvieh Association Youth Shows and programs. Their program is built on strong cow families selected for structure and maternal traits, and they also have a club calf program to encourage kids in agriculture. They have a unique bull, Magnum PI, who has been a National Champion and Bull of the Year multiple times, and his progeny are impacting their program for generations. They also mention selling beef from right here in Texas, responsibly raised, grass fed and grain finished with low stress handling. They also mention that Leslie grew up in a farming and ranching community and at Buchser Farms oversaw farm to table marketing and sales of vegetables and garlic; always making advocation of agriculture to the general public and customers a priority. However, the current website does not indicate that Star Ranch Cattle sells vegetables or garlic. The website also mentions that Molly's junior show heifers laid the foundation for the existing purebred program at Star Ranch and improved the functionality of the crossbred cattle. They also mention that their club calf program was bo
