Jason and Dani Morris’ family has been wild harvesting and raising Texas elderberry plants since the early 1990's. The obsession with elderberries began when Jason’s mother, Charlotte, came across this versatile plant and explored its beneficial uses while she was researching the family’s Cherokee heritage. Charlotte has made elderberry syrup for her immediate family for decades, which only heightened their determination to find a way to share her recipes with others. Floating O Farms is a family-owned and operated specialty farm located in the small town of Bogata, in the heart of Red River County, Texas. Native Texans, Jason and Dani, are honored to be the first and only commercial elderberry producer in the state, and are committed to supporting Texas businesses and products.
