Our Story

My journey started fresh out of high school when I landed a shipping & receiving job at a company specializing in grass-fed meats, at a small town company called Slankers. From day one, I was hooked—I fell in love with the business, the mission, and the incredible quality of the products we offered. I told Ted (the previous owner) that if he ever decided to sell, I wanted to be the first to know. Well, he kept his word, and last August, Ted was ready to retire. I had the chance to continue the legacy he built over the past 25 years. I couldn’t be more excited to carry on Ted’s commitment to quality, education, and sustainable farming. I truly believe in what we do, and I can’t wait to get to know all of you—our amazing customers, the peole who make this business possible.
