Hedge Holler Harvest

Hi, we’re Matt and Leah! We married in 2003, and now have three children and have lived on the family farm since 2008. We were both raised on farms  in Audrain County and felt that it was an important lifestyle to continue. Throughout the years, our family has worked hard to provide ourselves with farm raised meat. It is important to our family to know where our food comes from and how it is grown. In 2018, we added cattle to our already growing goat herd and implemented an intensified grazing program raising grass fed and grain finished beef. We also have lamb, goat, pork, duck, chicken, and turkeys! All of our poultry are pasture-raised, and all our animals are raised without growth hormones. Encouraging our youth to learn and potentially choose a career in agriculture is a subject near to our hearts. Our kids raise and manage different agriculture enterprises on our farm as part of their 4H and FFA projects. Their success is our future.
