Piney Creek Farm

We are the Stevens family. After several years of studying and practicing regenerative, low input farming systems, in 2019 Adam quit his job, we sold our homestead in Oregon, and moved our young family to Missouri in search of the right farm property. After many months of searching, we found what we were looking for outside of the small community of Cabool – a beat up, old farm that REALLY needed some love and healing. While we were searching, Adam completed Geoff Lawton’s course and became a Certified Permaculture Designer. We believe that if we are to be the best stewards that we can be, we should use natural patterns observed in God’s creation as our guide. After closing on the property, we immediately began the design process. With the design complete, it was finally time to start healing our farm which includes planting trees, developing and protecting water resources, building soil, and establishing diversified, perennial production systems. At the end of the day our goal is simple- to grow the best tasting, highest quality food that we can for our family and our community using life enhancing methods. We invite like-minded folks to join us in this mission and lifelong adventure.
