Carolina Ground is a boutique flour mill in Western North Carolina offering local pastry, bread, and rye flour, whole grains, artisan salt, books & gifts. They are involved in the North Carolina Organic Bread Flour Project.
The idea for the North Carolina Organic Bread Flour Project (NCOBFP), which led to the launch of Carolina Ground, L3C, came in the wake of the 2008 spike in the price of wheat. They aim to close the distance between the farmer and the miller/baker.
