U-Pick is over for the season, weekday activies are still happening! We are a family friendly orchard and all our you-pick apples are small enough for little apple pickers. If you're into likes, clicks, and views on social media, Hillcrest is the place for you. We have many unique photo opportunities all over the farm. So charge your phone and prepare to be insta-famous. Hayward Reece began growing apples in 1946 when he returned from World War II, where he was a prisoner of war. In 1951 he married Ellen Weaver and they had four children. Janice, the oldest, is carrying on the tradition her parents started along with her husband. Lynn Hale, daughter Kristin Smith, and now the fourth generation of grandchilren. To share with you and your family our farming heritage and create lasting memories of farm life. And to instill an appreciation for farmers and the hard work they do to produce food for the world. We take great pride in our family farm and agritourism destination and plan to coninue providing wholesome family entertainment as we share our farm with you.
