"Community-Supported or Shared Agriculture" (CSA) is known as"subscription farming." You buy a subscription from a local farmer the same way one would buy a subscription to Green Chef etc. Instead of receiving pre- washed/cut & farmed from how/who knows where, you receive a "share"of fresh, local & organically grown fruit/vegetables. No supply chain shortages!CSA's are a effective alternative to grocery stores & they allow you to support a local farmer in the process. Some of the many benefits:- You'll receive a weekly basket of fresh, local, organically grown produce.- Many weeks we will have bouquets of fresh cut flowers.- You will be buying food from a family that you know & trust, at a fraction of the cost of the grocery store chains....& NO recalls!-You will have a great opportunity to introduce your family to the idea of knowing where & whom your food comes from, how it grows & you'll learn to eat with the current season.- You will be helping not only your local economy, but a local family farm.*Many of the varieties we grow are unique heirloom varieties that cannot be found in stores & you will have a say in what we grow!Let us know what you like & want in your baskets & we will do what we can to make it happen.
