All new Digital Lessons from PEAS! To set up a group subscription, email training@peascommunity.org. In these 32 fun digital lessons, PEAS sets the stage by providing the background and ready-to-go outdoor inquiry activities. The teacher/facilitator shows a short video and then takes students outdoors to complete the activity. Lesson highlights: Each lesson focuses on a TEKS/NGSS aligned science activity with SEL and GT extensions! Designed for 1st - 3rd grade students, but can easily be modified up or down. Streamlined materials for easy and quick prep time, so more time can be spent exploring outdoors!
What began in 2011 as a school and community farm project has blossomed into a nonprofit that has reached over 30,000 students and thousands of adult participants. PEAS cultivates joyful connections with the natural world through outdoor learning and edible education, partnering with schools and offering programs to connect kids, classrooms, and communities to the natural world. They are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion for all in outdoor and edible education.
