Employee benefits packages for eligible employees include: POSITION TITLE:Summer Food Program Kitchen Assistant RESPONSIBLE TO:Summer Food Program Kitchen Coordinator DATES OF POSITION:June 15, 2026- August 27, 2026 SUMMARY OF POSITION:This is a full-time, temporary position. Must be 18 years of age or older. The Food for Lane County (FFLC) Summer Food Program provides children with nutritious meals when school meals are not available during the summer. Kitchen Assistants prepare meals for distribution to sites across Lane County. Working in cooperation with the kitchen team, this position follows the program menu and adheres to associated U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) meal pattern requirements. This position also assists the Kitchen Coordinator with kitchen operations and workflow, including working with volunteers, receiving food and non-food orders, and completing other assigned tasks. FULL JOB DESCRIPTION & APPLICATION POSITION TITLE:Summer Food Program Site Compliance Monitor RESPONSIBLE TO:Youth and Family Programs Manager DATES OF POSITION:June 11, 2026 – August 21, 2026 SUMMARY OF POSITION:This is a part-time, temporary position. The Food for Lane County (FFLC) Summer Food Program provides children with nutritious meals when school meals are not available during the summer. The Site Monitors use a personal vehicle to visit Summer Food Program sites across Lane County to ensure meals are served according to program requirements, and accurate records are maintained. This position observes meal service and reviews site documentation to ensure compliance with U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Summer Food Service Program guidelines. This position helps identify potential issues at meal sites and provides guidance or corrective actions to ensure program standards are met. FULL JOB DESCRIPTION & APPLICATION POSITION TITLE:Summer Food Program Site Supervisor RESPONSIBLE TO:Youth and Family Programs Manager DATES OF POSITION:June 15, 2026 – August 21, 2026 SUMMARY OF POSITION:This is a part-time, temporary position. Must be 18 years of age or older. The Food For Lane County (FFLC) Summer Food Program provides children with nutritious meals where school meals are not available in the summer. Site Supervisors serve free meals to children and youth ages 18 years and younger at designated meal sites across Lane County. This position is responsible for transporting program materials and meal coolers daily using their personal vehicle to their designated site. Meals are served according to US.
