Founded by sisters Sheila and Amy on the very land they grew up on, Grapefull Sisters began as a dream during a walk along the ditch line. As the sisters chatted about their hopes and ideas for the family farmland, one of them remarked, “We’d be in business if we could get something to grow as good as these muscadines.” And just like that, the seed was planted. Before long, Sheila and Amy were diving headfirst into research — learning everything they could about muscadine grapes, vineyard operations, and the ins and outs of the wine business. The land, which had been in their family for generations in Columbus County, transformed from traditional farmland into a boutique vineyard and tasting room, the first of its kind in the area. Since the ribbon cutting, Grapefull Sisters has remained proudly owned and operated by Sheila and Amy, honoring their family’s legacy of entrepreneurship and community. Over the years, they’ve grown the business into a thriving destination for daily wine tastings, special events, and more. Their goal has always been to create a welcoming space where both travelers and the local community can gather, relax, and enjoy life at a slower pace. A few years after the vineyard opened, Sheila’s son and daughter-in-law added to the property by turning the forest behind the vineyard into a full hook-up RV campground. Their dream was to raise their family in the peace and quiet of the countryside, and the campground was the perfect solution. CarrollWoods RV Park opened in 2008, and with lots of hard work and determination, the property has continued to grow, offering weddings, events, wine tastings, live music, and countless good times had by our guests. Being surrounded by family is a blessing, and we’re proud to keep growing together, always rooted in faith, family, and the power of hard work. We are beyond thankful to be able to share our family's story with you, and we hope you'll come vistit sometime and be a part of the Grapefull Sisters family. Cheers!
