Gaeddert Farms Sweet Corn, Inc is a family run farm business currently owned and operated by sisters Tonya Martisko and Julie Ball. They are located just east of Buhler on their 3rd generation farm. Their sweet corn operation began over 35 years ago by growing just a small patch of sweet corn for their extended family’s use, with their first sweet corn stand on their grandparent's front lawn. They have expanded to multiple stands and farmers markets, and now offer a variety of other produce, though sweet corn remains their main product. They pride themselves on quality and integrity, providing an outstanding product and an honest, family-oriented atmosphere. The planting season begins in early April, with multiple plantings staggered for fresh sweet corn for 6-8 weeks, despite challenges from Kansas weather. Sweet corn is picked fresh every morning starting at 3 am and is not sold the next day.
