Destination Thomasville Tourism Authority, doing business as Discover Thomasville, is a government authority created by Georgia State Statute in 1991 to promote tourism. Discover Thomasville is the official tourism organization for Thomas County and the City of Thomasville and receives revenue from the state lodging tax. The organization is overseen by a seven-member board comprised of citizens representing governments and local tourism segments.
