In pursuit of a Chem Free Life we feed our poultry a 100% certified organic feed from the day they hatch. Featuring popular favorites, plus some new breeds, order now for spring layers! One reason we feed our animals certified organic feed is to maintain positive genetic reproductive health across multiple generations. We believe the health of the hatching egg is impacted by the health and diet of the hen that laid it. Despite the additional cost, we choose feeds without glyphosate and herbicides that may have long-term consequences for reproductive health and potentially impact the health of subsequent generations. At Chem Free Life, we believe that food matters. It's not just about what we eat, but how it's grown that matters too. That's why we're dedicated to growing our produce in a holistic, sustainable way. We are a family-owned farm in rural Alabama and our mission is the provide clean, healthy food that is free from chemical fertilizers and pesticides. We raise a large assortment of chicken breeds focusing on egg color, temperament and adherence to breed standard where possible. We do strive to meet the standard of perfection for exhibition quality birds for the majority of our flock but we do have many that are just for fun. We raise our birds on organic feed and supplement with produce grown on the property. We do not use pesticides or chemical fertilizer and only organic seed.
