High Quality Beef
Cattle
Cattle: Angus
The most popular roast for a reason. It comes from the shoulder and is famous for its rich marbling and connective tissue. Because our Angus beef is grain-finished, this roast has a deep, savory fat content that melts during cooking. Best Used For: Classic Sunday pot roast, pulled beef for tacos, or hearty beef stews. Preparation: Low and Slow. This cut requires moisture to shine. Place it in a slow cooker or Dutch oven with beef stock, aromatics (onions/garlic), and root vegetables. Braise at 275°F for 3–4 hours until it reaches "fork-tender" status.
