Locally grown cut flowers for florists, in bouquets, and in you-pick flower events We look forward to seeing you at our You-Pick flower events or when you grab a bouquet at the flower stand! I am excited to share my love of flowers with others who love locally grown fresh flowers. Our flowers are available locally to the Blythewood, Columbia, and greater Midlands area of South Carolina through you-pick flowers, bouquets available at the flower stand, and through sales to local florists and designers. If you are looking for family fun in the Columbia area, join us at a U-Pick event, workshop, or pick up a weekly bouquet at our flower stand. I, Mary Ann, grew up on a farm in the Upstate area of SC. I graduated from the College of Charleston and then I obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Work from USC. After a career in social work, I became a stay-at-home mom and a homeschooler. I gardened in apartment courtyards and the backyard of a home in a subdivision, and then I tackled an enormous garden in Ridgeway, SC. I made every novice weed management mistake possible, and I grew every vegetable and flower that I found interesting. I also raised chickens for eggs and for meat, and a copperhead snake bit me at that garden in Ridgeway. One Hubcap Farm began in 2019 after we moved to its present location. After raising pastured pork and vegetables, we switched to flowers exclusively in 2022. Mary Ann’s husband, Scott, and her three children tolerate her farming endeavors and they even help sometimes.
