Home of Passager Pepper Sauces! OUR ROOTS AT WILLOW CREEK ACRES Nestled along historic U. S. Highway 31 in southern Indiana,Willow Creek Acresstands on ground rich with American frontier history. Just a few miles from the old Pigeon Roost settlement—the first pioneer community in what would later become Scott County—our farm carries forward the spirit of those early families who cleared the land, tended the soil, and built a life from the wilderness more than two centuries ago. In the early 1800s, this area was home to vast forests alive with wildlife and the rhythmic wingbeats ofpassenger pigeons—so numerous they inspired the name “Pigeon Roost.” The settlers who came here—farmers, hunters, and homesteaders—lived by the seasons and the strength of their harvests. On September 3, 1812, the Pigeon Roost Massacre claimed the lives of many brave pioneers—the first settlers of this land we now call home. At Willow Creek Acres, we honor their memory and the resilience that followed by sharing Scott County’s story, one bottle of sauce at a time. Today, at Willow Creek Acres, we continue that tradition of working the land with care, creativity, and respect for its story. Our Passager Hot Saucehonors both the fleeting beauty of the passenger pigeon and the enduring legacy of those who “passed through” this ridge before us—reminding us that we are all just travelers on the same ground, carrying forward flavor, memory, and craftsmanship. Crafted from just five simple ingredients—Datil peppers, garlic, vinegar, water, and salt—our Datil Pepper Sauce is proof that pure flavor doesn’t need anything extra. The peppers and garlic are grown right here on our family farm, then small-batch blended to capture the perfect balance of sweet and heat. Unlike any other sauce on the market, Passager begins with a bright, slightly sweet burst before unfolding into a smooth, satisfying warmth that lingers just long enough to make you reach for more. It’s preservative-free, all natural, and full of authentic farm-grown flavor. From your morning eggs to your lunchtime pizza, or our favorite—Datil wings—this sauce brings life to every meal. Stir it into chili, drizzle it over roasted vegetables, or add a splash to your soup beans and cornbread for a Southern classic with a bold new twist. Our story starts with the soil. The land at Willow Creek Acres has been farmed for generations, and we do our best to take care of it by keeping things simple, natural, and local. Every Datil pepper and clove of garlic that goes into Passager is grown right here, tended by hand, and harvested at peak flavor. We believe great food begins with honest work and good land—and we’re proud to share a taste of both in every bottle. Every great story deserves to be shared — and ours is just getting started. From our small farm in southern Indiana, we’re taking Passager Datil Pepper Sauce on the road, ready to introduce our farm-grown flavor to tables all across America. We’d love for you to come along with us — follow our journey, share our story, and help us spread a taste of Scott County one bottle at a time. 5742 S. U. S.
