U-Pick Strawberries & Spring Flowers coming at the end of March 2026! Home grown & family owned since 1899 Since the 1930s, GW Trask and his sons began farming the very land where Trask Family Farm stands today. For generations, the Trask family has dedicated themselves to cultivating the land and providing fresh produce to the local community and beyond. Once the largest fruit and vegetable producer on the East Coast, TFF continues to evolve and grow with time. We’re immensely proud of the farm’s history and achievements and excited for what the future holds! Family owned & operated since 1889 Spanning over 35 acres, Trask Family Farms (TFF) grows a variety of crops, including tomatoes, sweet corn, pumpkins, melons, peppers, flowers, and more! We personally tend to each plot and decide what to plant each year. But TFF is more than just a farm—it’s a destination. In addition to seasonal produce stands, you’ll find you-pick tomatoes, summer and fall mazes, local and homemade treats, regional products, and endless photo opportunities. Our new barn features produce for sale along with delicious homemade treats like watermelon and cantaloupe sorbet. We love involving the community in farm activities nearly all year long. When you visit TFF, there’s something for everyone! With over 130 years and six generations of farming behind them, the Trask family has a rich history of nurturing the land in New Hanover County. Now under the leadership of 22-year-old George Graham Trask, the family continues their work at Trask Family Farms, blending time-honored traditions with fresh ideas and new offerings. George is deeply committed to preserving his family’s legacy to usher TFF into a new era. With the support of his parents, Richard and Angie, he is determined to make TFF a regional destination and a beloved local name. The Trask family has cherished this farm for generations, and they know you will too.
