Our Story

The Dyer Family Organic Farm was started by Dick and Diana Dyer in 2009, inspired by Aldo Leopold's 'The Land Ethic'. After careers in healthcare, they became "old-new" farmers in the Ann Arbor area, focusing on growing healthy food in healthy soil. In January 2018, due to a serious injury, they made the difficult decision to stop growing garlic commercially, selling their seed stock to other local farmers, but continue a partnership with Mindo Chocolate.
