From start to finish, our process stays true to a single motivation: providing you, our customers, with the nutrition you seek, helping you to make healthy choices, and gain back the lost knowledge of The Art of Eating. Your choice to support our farm places you within that regenerative cycle, and we couldn't do what we do without you. Our chickens are raised on pasture and fed a non-GMO feed. They live their entire lives (3.5 months vs. 52 days for a commercially grown bird) chasing down bugs, basking in the sun, and roaming our pastures. For over 30 years, we’ve been dedicated to raising regenerative, 100% grass-fed beef. Our cattle graze freely, chemical-free, healthy pastures, and are never fed grain in any form, without the use of hormones and antibiotics.  We’re committed to both exceptional flavor and sustainability. Experience the difference three decades of hands-on, caring stewardship makes. Our pastured piggies spend their days rummaging and foraging through pastures and woods. Allowing our pigs to be pigs throughout their entire lives keeps them healthy and produces the healthiest, most sumptuous pork! One of the biggest compliments a sheep farmer can get is to be told that your lamb is the best in the country.  We've heard those words from many different people, from many different countries.  We agree! What kind of dairy allows cows and calves to remain together, only milks once a day, and never feeds grain in any form. We do! We utilize regenerative practices to maintain the health of our animals, our customers, our community, and our planet. Our chickens are truly pastured.  With access to pastures 24/7 and protected by our trusty guardian dogs, they live a life fit for a queen.  In addition to everything they forage, they are supplemented with locally grown, non-soy, certified organic feed In our small community here at River Cottage Farm, we have the privilege of sharing our land with Jackson and Jordan Rolett.  Jackson and Jordan raise amazing produce for our community using organic and regenerative practices. Our yarn starts it's journey two full years before it reaches your capable hands. The care of our lambs while still in utero determines the quality of the yarn we spin. You can visit us at one of our two farmers' markets every Saturday morning, year-round, or pick up at one of our drop-offs.
