Our Family Farm

Health from the farm, not the pharmacy. We provide healthy, delicious and nutritional produce that promotes good health and enhances your life and overall well-being. We follow organic principles in growing all our crops — we use no GMO seeds and no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. CSA is a personal relationship between the farmer and the consumer. This is 'Farming with a Face' and we take this seriously — Farmer John and/or Lois will be there when you pick up your produce. John's father bought this farm in 1948 and John has farmed it his whole life, carrying on multiple generations of farming. We grow over 40 types of vegetables, plus free-range eggs, duck eggs, honey, and seasonal chicken and turkey. We're one of only four Michigan farmers growing hydroponic lettuce, with over 7,000 sq ft of hoop houses for extended-season growing including hydroponic strawberries and winter greens. We also raise tilapia and rescue calves from veal operations.
