Olden Organics is rooted in tradition, with four generations having cared for the land. They have over 20 years of farming experience and continue to evolve their growing techniques to achieve the freshest organic crops and minimally processed vegetables. They have 9 years of veggie processing experience and operate 14 greenhouses on 100 acres of land. The farm is committed to supporting sustainability, promoting healthy living, teaching food origins, creating community through food, building strong partnerships, and establishing food security for all. They have received awards and grants from the Frontera Farmer Foundation and NRCS High Tunnel, and are a Beginning Farmer Food Sovereignty Award Winner from Family Farm Defenders. They are also a proud partner of the Fair Food Program, ensuring dignity and justice for farmworkers through ethical labor practices, fair wages, and humane working conditions. The farm is run by Richard and Tracy Vinz, along with their Aussies, Sydney and Leopold. They are looking for farm crew leaders, vegetable processing ninjas, and farmers market extraordinaires for the Oshkosh and Dane County Farmers Markets. They offer 60+ custom veggie cuts. They grow Chiogga, Golden, Heirloom, and Red Beets; Green and Wax Beans; Broccoli; Brussels Sprouts; Multi-Colored and Orange Carrots; Celeriac; Slicers and Picklers Cucumbers; Cheddar, Purple, Regular, and Romanesco Cauliflower; Red, Green, and Savoy Cabbage; Basic, Cilantro, Dill, Fennel, Mint, Regano, Parsley, Thai Basil, and Thyme Herb Plants; Baby Kale Mix, Green Curly, and Red Curly Kale; Green and Purple Kohlrabi; Asian Greens, Bib, Green & Red Leaf, Iceberg, Lettuce Mix, and Romaine Lettuce; Sun Jewels, Cantaloupe, and Savor French Melons; Green Bunching, Leeks, Red and Yellow Candy, and Storage Onions; and Peas.
