McDonald’s Greenhouse, Ltd. was founded in 1995 by James A. McDonald, who obtained a greenhouse and management production degree in 1994. James and his wife Susan, married in 2002, live on her family farm with three generations. They started fall farm fun and corn maze activities in 2006 and added an Event Barn in 2014, now offering year-round farm educational programming. Their belief is: Faith, Family, Farm! They have grown from one greenhouse to several since 1995. They started the fall farm fun and corn maze activities in 2006 when their oldest son was born. Building by building came along with the Event Barn in 2014. They are now in full swing with year round farm educational and fun programming such as Farm Tots and Farm Camp, that enriches this community. Guests become friends and friends to become family.
