If you are looking for local Atlanta honey, you have found the right place. Our Story Since 2004, Brandon Tai has been keeping bees in urban Atlanta. In 2007 bears took out all of his hives placed in north Georgia to capture the sourwood honey flow. Since then he has begun anew and started Honey Next Door, cultivating over 150 hives across 15 different Atlanta neighborhoods, Tupelo from the South Georgia Swamps and Sourwood from the North Georgia Mountains. Honey Next Door keeps bees in local Atlanta neighborhoods to provide hyperlocal honey products and to keep a healthy population of honeybees in the urban ecosystem. They own and manage beehives in various Atlanta neighborhoods. Their mission is to sell chemical-free bee products and plan to include liquid soaps and lotions soon.
