A second-generation Amish family farm on 88 acres south of Middlefield in Ohio's Geauga County. "The same farming methods we have always used; without the pricey labels and relentless paperwork." Previously certified organic for over 10 years, now Certified Naturally Grown. No GMO seeds, pesticides, or harmful sprays. Our chickens roam free on soy-free feed. Our sugar shack, Nature's Sweetness, boils sap from 6 acres of maple trees in February and March, producing rich, robust maple syrup, maple crème, and granulated maple sugar. Members of the Maple Producers of NE Ohio.
Noah Yutzy runs this second-generation family farm spanning 88 acres south of Middlefield. "If we can't perform our work with integrity, then it's not worth doing." The farm was certified organic for over 10 years before transitioning to Certified Naturally Grown — maintaining the same rigorous practices with less paperwork. Noah is also part of the Geauga Family Farms CSA cooperative, a group of 10 Middlefield-area farmers growing certified organic produce for weekly CSA shares across Northeast Ohio.
