The farm's mission is to "Grow, Feed and Educate," and it strives to provide a fun, natural and educational experience for farm family members and visitors. Farmer Browns Southern Farm of Hope Foundation was founded in 1997 by Lynnise Finney Brown a USAF Flight Nurse VETERAN Woman. in 2013 the “ Farm It Forward” Food for All and The living, working real farm was developed and operated by her husband Pit Master, Resident Farmer and Operations Manager Aaron Brown. and an advisory group of medical, mental health professionals who saw a need for more accessible healthy food sources, life skills in farming and mental health resources in our community. Our team is made up of Experienced Farmers, Veteran Restauranteurs,  licensed therapists, social workers, and other mental health professionals who are passionate about supporting critical sustainable food sources, and the vital future of farming, education and skills increasing mental health and wellness in our community. Hopeful Tails is a safe haven for neglected, abandoned or abused animals and promotes compassion and humane treatment for all animals on the farm. We are an advocate for compassion with animals in need and we aim to build a humane community that promotes wellness happiness and companionship, and seeks to strengthen the human animal connection Our team is made up of Experienced Care Givers, aids, in  the acquisition of funds and resources sources, to sustain our programs and the vital future of deterring loneliness, in our elderly population ,  promoting love education and unity increasing mental health and wellness in our community. We partner with a variety of organizations, farmers and businesses in our community to provide comprehensive food for all, wellness education, mental health services to those in need.
