Our Mission at Humble Heart Farms is to create an awareness, and to change that stigmatism that many people have in America, regarding Goat cheese and Goat dairy products. Goat Dairy, simply put.. Tastes better, very versatile, and is much better for the human body. We are the Lamotes, the new owners of Humble Heart Farms. What was once in Elkmont, Alabama, is now located near Smith Lake Park in Cullman County, Alabama. Humble Heart Farms is All Natural Goat Cheese. We have all of the original recipes and have added a few new ones! I picked up some goat cheese at the strawberry festival. I had no plans to get anything besides a small basket of strawberries when I walked over. The young ladies were so sweet, I decided to try a sample. It was amazing. I got the blueberry/jalapeno goat cheese. I'm not a fan of either but this stuff is amazing. It is so good. I will definitely need more. Visited this booth at the Cullman Christkind|market. Yummiest goat cheese ever and very friendly staff! Y’all!! Amber is amazing!! She is so helpful & filled my order & delivered promptly!! Of course I orderd the French goat cheese for a precious little French tea party:).. Claris, “the chicest mouse in Paris” would be delighted:)Bon appetit!!! And thank you to Amber for all your help!! The blueberry Jalapeño is perfect too!
We LOVE goats! Sixteen years ago, in 2009, on a mission to clear brush at our warehouse, Jeff, who was raised on a farm in Southwest Minnesota, looked into getting goats to take care of the property, since we couldn’t even get a bush hog to clear the brush. Now, it wasn’t just, go buy a few goats or rent some, NO.. these had to be the perfect goats. After all, we live in the Southeast, very prone to parasites. Fast Forward, Jeff quickly became the “Goat Guy” here in Alabama. He knows all about the genetics, the feed, the Do’s & Don’ts, when it comes to Goats. in 2023, The Lamote’s became the new owners of Humble Heart Farms, moving the original Cheese Mixing Room, and most of the original herd, from Elkmont, to now near Smith Lake in Cullman County. Originally raising High Performance New Zealand KIKO Meat Goats, Dairy goats just seemed like a natural fit! Amber is a Small Business Owner, a veteran Restauranteur, and well entrenched in the Food & Beverage industry. A Win Win…. Producing the absolute BEST Cheese and being able to run, efficiently, the business. The topper… Maintain the original integrity of Humble Heart Farms.
