Corey and Bridgette Lutz, both from dairy farming backgrounds, started their own farm, Piedmont Jerseys, in 1997 as a grazing dairy. In 2012, their family began planning an on-farm store and creamery to provide fresh Jersey milk directly to the public, breaking ground on Riverbend Creamery in 2019. They milk around 220 Registered Jersey cows, many over 10 years old, and bottle their milk right on the farm for freshness. The family is committed to providing high-quality dairy products in a sustainable way. The farm is a fifth-generation family-owned dairy in Lincolnton, NC, preserving their heritage. They supply local grocers with a range of dairy products and invite everyone to visit for a taste of the country. They lead their grass-fed Jersey cows from the pasture to the barn daily for their creamy, rich milk. The farm is nestled in the bend of the South Fork River.
