Mixed Livestock Farm
Wye Mountain Flowers and Berries, llc | United States
We strive to raise the highest quality flowers and berries possible using sustainable practices and offering our products at a fair and reasonable price. Wye Mountain Flowers and Berries grew out of Beth and Butch Eggers' desire to return to Arkansas and own a little acreage. Butch's career had relocated the family to Omaha, Nebraska and though many good friends were made there it never felt like home. Then in 1997 Lord blessed us with the perfect property on Wye Mountain with sandy loam soil which is perfect for growing flowers and berries. The farm was established in 1998 with about twelve beds of flowers and expanded each year until it now has a total of about three acres of field grown specialty cut flowers. In 2008 the eight acres of berry fields were planted with eight differest varieties of blueberries and four varieties of thornless blackberries. Since 2011, the Eggers have enjoyed hosting families, as they visit and enjoy a morning of picking fresh berries and choosing a beautiful fresh bunch of flowers. In addition to sales from the farm, our flowers can also be found at the Hill Crest and Westover Farmers Markets, Catering to You. When you purchase sunflowers from Tipton & Hurst or many other local florists chances are they are from Wye Mountain! Sorry! but we've had to cancel all events until further notice due to the COVID19. Wye Mountain Flowers and Berries istheplace for your groups perfect field trip.
