Liberty Apple Orchard is committed to serving our community with an easily accessible, family-friendly U-Pick experience. We offer 21 varieties of apples from late August through November. The orchard is well mowed, perfect for family photos, and welcoming to strollers and guests of all heights. Our younger trees mean lower branches — everyone gets to pick! Look for us at the Land of Goshen Farmers' Market in Edwardsville, the Vine Street Market in O'Fallon and Tower Grove Farmers' Market in St. Louis on Saturday mornings. No field access fees. No parking fees. Only pay for what you pick. Being a younger orchard means having lower branches, so guests of any height and the littlest hands can reach the fruit. With 21 varieties of apples available August - November, we have something for every apple lover. Routine mowing and cleanup of windfall apples keep the orchard sanitary and accessible.
Liberty Apple Orchard is owned and lovingly cared for by Lugene and Steve Miller, who opened the orchard in 2013 after Steve retired. They wanted to share their family's favorite activity of apple picking with their community. The first 100 trees were planted in 2008, and since then, 100 to 200 new trees have been added each year, bringing the total to over 1,000 trees and 21 apple varieties today.
