For over 47 years, GHA Autism Supports has provided quality, community services to meet the unique needs of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We create environments where people of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorder are understood, valued for their diversity and are given opportunities to grow, as well as contribute to the community. It is our pledge to support people in developing an evolving blueprint for their lives, and we do that not by asking them to conform to our service array, but by creating and tailoring services to meet their expressed needs. With this process, we help to make a difference one person at a time. GHA Autism Supports provides quality, community services to meet the unique needs of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD’s). To create environments where people of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorder are understood, valued for their diversity and are given opportunities to grow as well as contribute to the community. Individuals – We value the uniqueness of each individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder and seek to incorporate their strengths, abilities, values, interests and choices in the planning and provision of services. Staff – We seek to provide quality training for all staff, thus developing direct care skills and a high degree of professionalism in all areas of job performance. Respect – We enable an environment where staff feel prepared, supported, and valued as a member of the organization. Programs – We develop programs of excellence that are flexible, accountable, and continually responsive to individual, family, and community needs. Teamwork – Parents/guardian, individuals, staff and the Board of Directors create a team that guides the design and delivery of quality services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Safety – We place great emphasis on safety for our individuals, our staff, and the surrounding community. Collaboration – We strive to stay connected with parents/guardians, teaching institutions, fellow organizations, and the community in offering quality services to those individuals we serve.
