About Blair Family Farm
Our journey started over a hundred years ago when the Blair family acquired this farm in the scenic countryside of Woodbury, Tennessee — a valuable legacy handed down through the years. In 2022, we took on an exciting new chapter in beekeeping after completing our certification through Michigan State University's "Heroes To Hives" program, designed for veterans and their families. Our slogan, "Semper Apis" — Latin for "Always Bees" — honors both our Marine Corps roots and our deep commitment to protecting the environment. Nestled among native trees and wildflowers, our bees thrive in a natural, pesticide-free environment. Our honey is made in small batches, carefully harvested to preserve its natural flavor and nutrients. We package every jar in glass containers — raw, unfiltered, strained but never filtered, and completely free of additives. No sugar water, no corn syrup, no shortcuts. Every jar is packed with the pure essence of Tennessee wildflowers. We also craft beeswax candles (hand-rolled and hand-poured), natural beeswax lip balm, and collect bee pollen. While our honey is crafted in Woodbury, we proudly sell it in Murfreesboro with free local delivery, or ship orders over $50 for free. — Carrie & Kevin Madachik, Blair Family Farm
