Conservation Farm Family of the Year – Cabarrus County In 2010, we were honored to be the Conservation Farm Family of the year in Cabarrus County. Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) Certification Achieved Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) audits are voluntary audits that verify that fruits and vegetables are produced, packed, handled, and stored to minimize risks of microbial food safety hazards. Barbee Farms receives GAP certification, underscoring our dedication to food safety and quality assurance in all our farming practices. Since 2019, Barbee Farms has received the Harmonized GAP certification, underscoring our dedication to food safety and quality assurance in all our farming practices.
