Herbie named the farm Baie Klippe, which means "many stones" in Afrikaans, due to the abundance of stones on the land. The farm was established in 2011 with the planting of cherry and apricot trees, and has since expanded its produce and livestock. The farmer, Cindy Stanley, is a relatively new wife and farmer, balancing farm life with her husband's off-farm work.
