Back Creek Bend Farm, Inc. is a family-owned and operated farm located on the historic Snodgrass Tavern farmstead in Hedgesville, WV. Their family has been stewards of this land since 1868, dedicated to continuing the tradition of providing quality foods compatible with "Our Maker's Natural Order" using humane and sustainable practices, without feed lots, confinement, antibiotics, or hormones (except in extreme cases). They have only used a topical antibiotic once since 2003 for pink eye. They emphasize the importance of customer support for the future of quality foods and landscapes. They also offer a CSA subscription service for beef, chicken, and pork, with orders ready the first Monday of each month. Sign-up deadlines are June 30 for July-December and December 31 for January-June. They accept all major credit cards and EBT/SNAP. They also offer handyman services, firewood, and mulch.
