Aberdeen | Pine & Orange | Handmade Beef Tallow Soap \n \nJust beyond the harbour of Aberdeen lies the seemingly endless forests of evergreens that inspired this luxurious cold-processed and all-natural soap. \n \nINGREDIENTS: Saponified Oils Grass-Fed Tallow, Saponified Olive Oil, Saponified Coconut Oil, Essential Oils [Orange, Scotch Pine*]. *Certified Organic Ingredient \n \nNT WT 4 oz \n \nOUR HANDMADE SOAPS \n \nWe start with grass-finished beef fat from cattle raised on a local regenerative farm. The tallow is rendered using traditional methods in small batches. Each bar of soap is hand-poured, cut, and cured for 28 days. \n \n \n \nOUR BODY CARE PRODUCTS \n \nAll of our body care products are handmade in small batches from nature’s first (and best) natural skin care product; beef tallow. We use as few ingredients as humanly possible to not interrupt the skin’s natural balance. While other soaps and products strip your skin of moisture and other necessary components, ours enhance and give back. \n \nWe also avoid all “natural” fragrances. This is an unregulated term that can mean just about anything. Our only fragrances are from 100% essential oils straight from nature. Do your own research on the difference between “natural” fragrances and essential oils and come back when you're done :) \n \nThe majority ingredient in each of our body care products is tallow from grass finished, regeneratively raised cattle. Not only is the fat from these animals the most pure, but you’re doing the environment a favor as well. Regenerative agriculture “describes farming and grazing practices that, among other benefits, reverse climate change by rebuilding soil organic matter and restoring degraded soil biodiversity – resulting in both carbon drawdown and improving the water cycle” according to Regeneration International. \n \nThe first body care products were natural fats. That’s all we had access to for all of history. Our first mention of soap in recorded history comes from ancient Rome. “Ancient Roman legend has it that the word ‘soap’ is derived from Mount Sapo, where animals were sacrificed, and from where rainwater washed a mixture of melted animal fats (tallow, a foul-smelling substance also used to make candles) and wood ashes into the River Tiber below. There, the soapy mixture was found to be useful for washing clothing and skin.” According to the History of Soap Making \n \nThe other staple ingredients in our products are coconut oil and beeswax. These also have ancient traditions in body care products that go back thousands of years. We hope you enjoy using (to our knowledge) the most natural and ancestral body care products available today. \n \n
