It isn't surprising that as sisters, Kimberly Fouse and Julie Verhelst would discover the same love - these wonderful camelids from South America. Kimberly and her husband Dick purchased their first alpaca in 2003, from Sunny Meade Alpacas - a champion bay/black female named Dexter's Peruvian Lily. Lily remains the foundation of their growing herd that lives in Swanton, Ohio, on sister Julie's farm. All Things Alpaca, LLC has a diversified herd of top national huacaya bloodlines. Sisters Kimberly Fouse and Julie Verhelst share a love for alpacas. Julie Verhelst, owner/operator of Sunny Meade Alpacas, Ltd., fell in love with a baby alpaca 25 years ago while providing graphic design services for a new alpaca breeder. Having grown up on a horse farm, she knew the joy of raising livestock, and the rest is history. The farm focuses on breeding high-quality, award-winning Huacaya alpacas, acquiring a base herd from top bloodlines in the industry.
