Farmers Market
Neosho Farmers Market is a public 501(c)(3) charitable entity and a state not-for-profit corporation in southwest Missouri. We are a community-focused, volunteer-driven organization operating a seasonal, producer-only Saturday farmers market, plus a variety of additional markets and special events throughout the year. Based in Newton County, our service area includes this and those twenty other counties in Missouri, Oklahoma, and Kansas within a fifty-mile radius of downtown Neosho. Participation in our market involves an application-and-review process which includes diligent vetting for quality and locality, as well as careful curation based on the commitment of participants and needs of the market and the community we serve. The ongoing health and success of our market depends not only on the locality of our vendors and the quality of the goods they provide, but also on the community spirit and commitment of them individually toward each other and to the benefit of the whole. The following rules and standards are designed to serve as a guiding outline of principles and expectations for expectations in our market. All applicants and participants in our market agree to adhere to these points, as well as to the general spirit of community, collaboration, and mutual, neighborly respect and commitment that they are built upon.
