At Fourbar Ranch, we are more than just a farm—we are the latest chapter in a legacy that began before 1896. The land that supports our cattle was first cultivated by William H. T. Bankston and has been passed down through five generations of our family. For over 125 years, our family has dedicated itself to raising high-quality cattle, and today, we continue this tradition with our premium Angus beef. Four Bar Ranch has a rich history that traces back through the Bankston and Wilkinson families, spanning hundreds of years. Originally inherited by Edwin Wilkinson from his mother's father, the land, with its historical charm—including an old crank well and remnants of early structures—has evolved from dairy cows and hay fields to itscurrent focus on premium Angus beef. Although Fourbar Ranch officially began operations in 2023, the journey to this point has been a legacy in the making. Today, Ashley Wilkinson and Justin Traylor represent the third generation committed to nurturing this land. Justin's background in dairy farming around the Loranger area complements Ashley’s family heritage, bringing a deep understanding of farming practices to their venture. The ranch encompasses 103 acres, with 40 dedicated to lush grazing pastures and 63 still in its natural state, where the cattle enjoy exploring and foraging. Our values are rooted in conservation, frugality, responsibility, and a deep commitment to the land and future generations. We strive to create a regenerative, self-sustaining farm that supports high-quality beef production while preserving the environment. Our goal is to offer families premium beef, providing a convenient solution for those who appreciate the care and quality we bring to every aspect of our farming operation.
