"I can’t recommend Taste of the Land enough. We’ve been buying all of our beef, pork, and lamb from them for over a year and have been extremely happy with everything we’ve tried!" “As a consumer, I prioritize the nutrient density of the food I eat. I believe that it all begins with caring for the land, which in turn leads to healthy animals that provide wholesome, nutrient-rich meals. At Taste of the Land, I can purchase locally raised beef, lamb, pork, and eggs from animals that graze on diverse pastures.” "Until I tried Taste of the Land beef, my body was unable to properly digest any beef products anymore. Now I can enjoy their very high-quality beef products plus all of their other great offerings!! I am so grateful" "We are loving our grass fed/grass finished beef! It is very tasty & we are happy to help support regenerative farming. Eli delivered the meat to us & has been great to work with." "Taste of the Land has been our family's go-to for 100% grass-fed, hormone- and antibiotic-free products for a couple years now due to their commitment to regenerative farming and humane animal care. Their fair pricing, bulk discounts, and personable customer service make them a reliable choice, and they are absolutely worth trying!" "They focus on regenerative agricultural practices that give nutrients back to the soil instead of depleting it. This brings quality nutrients into the animals that feed on it, creating a healthy and quality life for the animals." We’re thrilled to invite you to our brand-new on-farm store! Stay connected with your local regenerative farmers. We are Taste of the Land, and this is our story At New Family Farms, we’re more than just a second-generation farm—we’re a family with a passion for doing things right. My father, Shane New, has always been at the forefront, guiding our farm through its many phases. From sod farming to cash crops, with a steady cattle operation alongside, Shane’s journey has been one of constant evolution. But even with success, he never stopped searching for something more meaningful. That search led him to regenerative agriculture. I’m not exactly sure how Shane stumbled upon it, but when he did, it was like a spark was lit. Suddenly, our family conversations were filled with talk of soil health, biology, and the role of animals in healing the land. Shane’s enthusiasm was contagious, and soon, we were all on board. What started as simple cattle movements became hands-on lessons in nurturing the earth. We didn’t just add more pastured layers; we expanded our vision. Pigs, bees, lambs, and even our trusty sheepdog, Shep, joined the farm. Each animal plays a vital role in enriching our soil, boosting plant diversity, and ultimately providing our customers with wholesome, well-raised products. Our mission is clear: to produce the most nutrient-rich and flavorful foods by embracing the diversity of our farm’s ecosystem. After all, you are what you eat, and the same goes for your food and what it consumes. This belief is the heart of our brand, Taste of the Land. We’re proud to offer products that not only taste incredible but are also better for you, the animals, and the earth itself.
